Of the total area that Novo Carthago will cover (almost 5.7 million m2), only 22% (1,260,000 m2) will be used for residential purposes. Proof of this is the occupation of residential areas by homes: of the 1,260,000 m2 of residential areas, only 265,000m2 will be occupied by accommodation, creating large green areas in the heart of residential complexes.
